The Cape Cod Conservation District (CCCD) requests proposals for services related to work on the Cape Cod Water Resources Restoration Project (CCWRRP).

As a partner in the CCWRRP, CCCD’s objectives are to

             (1) improve water quality for shellfish beds,

             (2) restore degraded salt marshes, and

             (3) restore anadromous fish passages

The services sought for this RFP are detailed in two major tasks:

             A) Project coordination services for the Herring River Restoration Project,

              and

             B) Salt marsh monitoring for six initial projects being funded for construction as part of the CCWRRP. Activities related to the CCWRRP are being funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

The expected contract length will be from Notice to Proceed (anticipated in September 2010) to the expiration of the current funding on December 31, 2011.
